I made. My name is Pavel Rokhmanko, it's a
Russian name, but every body just call me Paul.
I live in Montreal, and I came to Canada 3 years
ago from Israel, where I had finished my school.
It was a Technology School in which I began at
first to deal with a graphics art.
I graduated on June 1995 in a field of graphic design.
However, before that school I was pulled towards art,
in the early childhood all the teachers were amazed
by my ability to draw. It was strange because no one
in my family was related to art. Since then a
piece of paper and a pencil were my friends.
My favorite theme to draw is people, and I am
absolutely in love with the renaissance and
baroque times, my favorite artists are:
Botichelly, Mone (for his great sense of colors)
Daly (for his fantasy) But actually I love them
all. I am never stuck on something specific,
I tried impressionism, realism, abstract and I
have got to tell you it's all very lovely.
In an elderly period of my live I began to
concentrate on the computers stuff seeing in it
more perspective and possibilities in the future.
My first program wich I learned was Corel Draw
(I don't remember exact version but I guess it
was 3 or 4) it was simple, easy and funny to use.
Since then I felt in love with a digital art. My
second program was... of course an Illustrator,
then PhotoShop, FreeHand, QuarkXPres then I started to
interest in a 3D stuff and animation that is how I
learned 3Ds MAX but it was steal not enough for me. At
last I was introduced to Internet, and I said to
my self: hay Paul you have to learn how they do
it and here I am designing and programming my
own home page. I had to learn about HTML, CSS,
JAVA SCRIPT, and GIF builder This is steel a row
version of my page, in the future I am planning
to add some Java.
